MSc Football Coaching & Analysis

This programme will take an in-depth look at the numbers that make the game tick, alongside theoretical and practical coaching disciplines. It will enable students to develop a systematic and in-depth understanding of knowledge, and a critical awareness of current problems and/or new insights for the advanced study of football coaching and analysis.

Entry requirements

  • Applicants should hold a Bachelor (Honours) degree with Upper Second Class Honours or a Bachelor (Ordinary) degree with 70-75%. Applicants may be accepted with a Bachelor (Honours) degree with Lower Second Class Honours or Bachelor (Ordinary) degree with 60-65% provided they can otherwise demonstrate a strong profile.
  • Applicants with a 2:2 should have some experience of studying or working in business or sports related areas.
  • English language qualifications: Applicants from non-majority English speaking countries will be asked for an English qualification which tests Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing and will be asked to achieve an overall IELTS score of 6.5 (minimum of 6.0 in each section) or recognised equivalent.
