About this scholarship

The scholarship was established in 1994 in memory of Constantine Aspromourgos and is maintained from a fund donated by his wife, Patricia Phyllis Aspromourgos. 

Eligibility

You’re eligible if you:

  • have a bachelor's or a master's degree; and
  • submits an application by the due date; and

Either:

  • are undertaking a postgraduate program involving studies that relate to at least one area of Greek studies (ancient, Byzantine, or modern) in 
    • language
    • culture
    • literature
    • history
    • archaeology
    • society
    • religion
    • economics
    • politics
    • geography (a Greek studies program); or
  •  a UQ graduate undertaking a Greek studies program that is acceptable to the committee, as a student at another university.
